DHCo presents “The End,” a piece that captures the uncertainty and chaos surrounding the turn of the millennium in 2000, when the looming Y2K bug sparked global anxieties about technological failure and societal collapse. Blending nostalgia with tension, it reflects collective fear and anticipation, and explores what could have happened if it was in fact, the end.

We are DHII! We are made up of members of DHi Season 4. We reunited at MYS 2024 and performed an iconic crowd pleaser: The Ember Island Play :D for the Matinee Show. We formed a strong bond during our time as DHi and wanted to carry that forward into this year! Many of us are graduating this year and it will be our final show as a team, so we would love to end it with a strong and energetic performance that the crowd will love!

Waacking has its roots in the underground gay clubs of 1970s Los Angeles, from a dance style called Punking. Punking has two elements: Posing and Whacking. The element of Whacking has evolved and is what is most notably known today as the style of Waacking. Waacking/Waacking as a dance style can be visually recognized by the rolling of the arm, wrist and elbow.

This piece is dedicated to the graduating class of 2025.

What started 4 years ago as an excuse for Georgia to make all of her Contemp baddies dance to her fave childhood songs has turned into her biggest group yet, with 15 insanely talented current (and former) collective members involved in Y2Slay. Y2Slay perfectly showcases this group's 2 biggest strengths - their cross-genre skill set and love for all things fun. If the audience can't see how much fun it was for us to create a piece to honour our girls Fergie and The Pussycat Dolls, then we have done it wrong. Long live y2k!
